ALOHA... What's been happening this year...

Sorry I haven't kept updated with you all on how I have been. I was able to do a Principle of Redeeming Culture School, that taught me how to share the Gospel in a way that will bring understanding through ones culture. Learning how to champion a Nation in what God has called them to be and do. Also praying healing and blessings over myself, my family, America, Israel and the rest of the world.

After P.R.C.S was over I was able to put it all in action through our outreach to Alaska. Alaska was soo beautiful. I truly don't understand how people can question there is no God when looking at creation. (that's just my point of view) The mountains were so high and great and the water was so clear. As we were there we were able to do a camp for the Native Americans in Mentasa, Gakona and Copper. We got to teach basketball, jiu jitsu, aerobics and more of the Bible. All of the tribe took a stand to surrender their people completely to God and making a change in their reservations. After the camp we were able to encourage the churches around Alaska to be strong and courageous. We saw a mighty move in Alaska... all glory to God.

After Alaska we were in Hawaii for a week to train our team for tour. We have many new people and is very thankful. Some of our other team members felt to start and help other ministries. We bless them in what God is doing through them.

We then headed out to Minnesota for there is a girl name Kari who is praying about joining our team. We were able to share at churches and encourage the people's homes we stayed at. Then we left to Canada.

In Canada we have two Island Breeze teams starting. One in Steinbeck and another in Fiji but is in Morris preparing. It was a joy teaching the team the dances and training in basics for Hula, Tahitian and Samoan. We were also able to go out to Reservations to celebrate what God is doing through them. The Pastors there felt refreshed and renewed through the Lord using us to help them in the reservation. We miss the people there and bless the Nation of Canada.

We are now in North Dakota, Fargo with the rest of our Impact World Tour team. It is so good to see everyone, for it's been almost a year since we last had a tour together. We start our outreach on Wednesday. We have had many times of prayer and worship and sense the Lord wanting to heal the land of Fargo. We know now that we will contend for God's glory and victory.

I ask you today what is God asking you to contend for? Has he spoken a promise or word to you and/or your family? How bad do you want to see His glory manifest to the ends of the earth? Choose today to contend with us to see God's glory not just here in Fargo, but to the Nations and abroad. Choose today to take a stand for healing in your family. Choose today to see God's glory shine in you. Don't settle for less! If God really lives in you like you say He does, then walk in the Authority He has given you and be the Warrior He is called you to be. Let's see healing and victory everywhere.

Love you all and miss you heaps. After here we will be in Ohio then Scotland, coming back to Ohio for Thanksgiving and then on to California. I pray God is doing great works in your lives. Know that when we go through persecution our ending result will always be Victory. Praying for you all and contending for God's glory to shine in all of you. Love you and please update me with your lives too. Miss you guys.

P.R.C.S.

Aloha everyone!

Sorry it's been a long time since I've last updated you guys. Well Island Breeze is not having any tours with Impact World Tour till September. However we will be going to Minnesota, Ohio and Scotland September till November. Island Breeze will be doing a tour on there own with our Makapala Family. We will be helping them with a youth camp for three week in Alaska. We need $1500 each to cover our flights and ground fees. It would be great for you to help me in this time.

As for now I felt from the Lord to do a school called Principles of Redeeming Culture School(P.R.C.S). About 15 years ago Loren Cunningham the founder of YWAM challenged Island Breeze to create a school that teaches people what Island Breeze has walk through, through redeeming cultures. This school brought our leaders together and taught them how to lead Island Breeze and be attentive to what the Lord had called them into through Island Breeze. This school presents principles for recognizing God's truth and righteousness in the cultures of the world, affirming those cultures, and seeing them transformed by the work of God. We will learning to view history and our own and/or other cultures from a biblical perspective; we also learn to develop strategies for influencing society toward righteousness, and making the Word of God the standard for living.

Last year I had heard they were having another school so I prayed about it, yet the Lord did not have me go. This time I was totally not wanting to do it, for I didn't have any peace about doing it and honestly was happy with what I was doing. Yet, I felt from the Lord that this was going to be a time for our team to come back together as our leaders first did. I had notice through the years that this generation was missing something the generation before us had. I couldn't figure out what it was, until Tuesday 3/29. Uncle Jon the leader of P.R.C.S and founder of Island Breeze New Zealand came to tell us about P.R.C.S. He spoke about how P.R.C.S started. It started making sense about what the Lord was telling me. I felt an urgency to do it, yet questioned it because I didn't FEEL peace. In our prayer time the Lord challenged me... " Here's your opportunity Rayna are you going to go by feeling or the Word I have implanted into your heart. What's better your feeling or your obedience to Me." I found out that the school would be starting next week but I questioned it because I really wanted to visit my family before I traveled. Yet, I gave up my wants and said "Okay Lord, You know how much I miss my family and if you have called me to do this school, then I know you will provide a time I can spend with my family."

Now I don't know when my desires of seeing my family will come, but I do know that the Lord has given me such a joy to do this school now. I didn't have much to even cover my application fee, yet within a couple days the Lord answered and blessed me with money to pay for my application fee.

My school is $4200. Now coming into this I was not worried about my finances and I'm not now for I serve Jehovah Jireh(God who provides), but that does not excuse that I do need help from my fellow friends and family members. Please keep in mind I do also have to pay my travels for Island Breeze Impact World Tour. It would be a great help if you guys could bless me spiritually with prayers as well as financially.

I have opened a paypal account to make it easier. You can now transfer from your account to my paypal and it will go straight to my bank account. Just go onto paypal.com and put PacificSuga@gmail.com and it should be under Rayna M. Downey.

Aloha and Happy New Years!

Welcome to the New Year. New Dreams, New Vision, New Seasons, New Goals, New Trials and New Journeys. Thank you all for supporting and praying with me through our journeys of 2010. I pray that you all will continue to support and pray for me as my team and I enter into 2011.
Last year I ended with a season of patience. The Lord had blessed me with a friend who later through many prayers, fasting and awaiting the Lord's timing have now become my official boyfriend. I know this might be a shocker for I have not spoken anything of this till now. I met Ivan during our Philippines tour as he led the GX (hip hop dance) team. We were only friends and actually had no interest in each other till three months after; during Kentucky and Ohio tour. We were really close friends and started getting feeling but had no peace about starting the relationship. After talking with our leaders, family and seeking the Lord's guidance we both felt to wait till this year 2011.

As I entered into this relationship I began to grow fear of past hurts and break-ups that I thought I was healed of. Praise God for revealing things I needed to work on before and even during this relationship. As I entered into this relationship with caution the Lord kept showing me so much ugliness in me that I need to take care of such as; pride, impatient, moodiness and other imperfection. Praise God that God blessed me with a Man after His heart and not mines. Ivan continue to encourage me, uplift me with Truth... God's Word, as well as encouraging me by his actions. God loved me so much that He knew I needed a patient man that won't run when times got hard but fought only harder. As I began to notice my pride I began breaking it off with apology.... it was hard but it broke a lot when I stepped up and claimed my wrong. Then I began breaking my moodiness and impatient with the opposite... taking time to make food for him instead, encouraging him with words of affirmation. In this two week (lol yes only two weeks) we both were able to see the needs of each other and able to understand what we would be fighting as we continue to fight for this relationship. I thank God for Ivan for he is Exactly what I asked God for... A man who was so deeply into Him that he found me through Him and a man who is the human form of Jesus to me. (Maybe not totally perfect but really close)
As we continue our commitment to our team we trust that this year we will continue to learn how to love one another the way God loved us first. This year he came to do a outreach with Island Breeze in Hartville, Ohio. It was amazing getting to see our friends from last year as well as meet new ones who I pray we will be able to get to know each other even more. Praise God he came because we had a small team. He was able to drum, cook, dance and just help and serve as we practiced for our luau. A little less than two hundred- fifty people attended our fundraiser luau which will help for our tours to come. All Glory and Praise to God for what has happen in Hartville, Ohio and thank you to all how help make it possible.
As we continue to fight for the Victory of thousands and millions of people surrendering their lives completely to Jesus Christ; whether with each other or with our teams we will fight. He will be with his ministry in Kansas City, Missouri as I will continue to serve in Kona, Hawaii.
I pray that you all will stand with me as I enter this new journey with God, Island Breeze and Ivan. This year will be another booked year. We will be going to Korea, China, Japan, Israel, Scotland, Minnesota, Ohio, and possibly Philippines and Brazil. Please pray for provision, finances, health and peace in every thing we walk into... whether hard or fruitful. Thank you again for all your prayers. Love you and please let me know how I can pray for you guys too. Thank you and God bless you all.
